Teaching-learning process
My teaching approach is grounded in active, critical and application-oriented learning. I seek to create learning experiences that connect scientific research with society's concrete challenges, promoting students' autonomy, scientific literacy and analytical skills. I have continuously invested in innovative teaching methodologies, inclusive practices, assessment for and as learning.
This commitment was recognised with the 2023/2024 Good Pedagogical Practices Award from the University of Maia and Santander, awarded to the collaborative project “Workshops de Capacitação Académica e Científica”.

She undertook teaching mobility periods at the University of Malta (2025) and the University of Liverpool (2019 and 2020). She has also contributed to guest lectures and other academic initiatives at Universidade Lusíada (2026), the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho (2025), the Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon (2024), and the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto (2023), among other institutions.
